What it must include

  • Who sells each item: the market or its author, and whether that author is a trader or a private person (Consumer Rights Directive, art. 6a).
  • How the catalogue is ranked: the main ranking criteria.
  • The right of withdrawal and when it is lost for digital content (Consumer Rights Directive, art. 16(m)): express consent and its written confirmation are required.
  • What the licence, updates and author support include, and for how long.
